International
Clients include household name companies, multi-national firms, as well as famous Food Tech unicorns, startups and scale-ups.
FLS can represent and litigate on behalf of clients all over the world. Acting as the main point of contact and responsible for the overall strategy and approach, Food Law Science & Partners supports food and feed clients in domestic, regional or international cases.
How we approach international and cross-border cases will depend on our clients’ requirements.
EU food & feed law, litigation and approvals
In any matters relating to EU law, Food Law Science & Partners is the sole point of contact for its clients and the principal firm in charge of the dossier. FLS will manage the dossier and oversee the management, strategy and timelines alongside its clients. Our experience is broad in this respect and in most cases, we are able to handle the entire dossier in-house. However, as and if required, through our extended network, we hire other legal or scientific consultants to cover or advise on niche legal or scientific specializations, to cover specific jurisdictional or technical expertise or to represent the client in local courts if necessary.
Non-EU matters, ligitation and regulatory approvals
FLS also works regularly in non-EU countries. FLS has particular expertise working with EU-based manufacturers who wish to export their goods and products to non-EU markets.
FLS has experience working on dossiers for the Asian, Middle East, African and both North and South American export. Our expertise also encompasses regulatory approvals. A large percentage of our client work has a non-EU component. In these cases, we act as the main point of contact for our clients and oversee the dossier. However, we appoint other law firms through our esteemed network of lawyers to act as principal lawyers in the relevant jurisdiction.
International expertise
The team is internationally recognized, both collectively and as individuals, as top lawyers in their field of expertise. They are consistently ranked in Chambers and the Legal 500 as leading lawyers.
As well as advising our clients and assisting to draft national and international authorization dossiers, we can also help clients seek approval to market goods in international markets.
