Our team With an already strong background, Julie joined Food Law Science & Partners in 2023 as a scientific expert to provide complementary expertise in the area of new and ever-increasing technologies in food and feed, such as in vitro synthetic methods and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). She has also had corporate experience within legal structures. Julie is happy to share her scientific and technical knowledge with FLS clients. Julie obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine followed by a fundamental Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Namur, Belgium, with related experience in the academic sector. Among the different techniques used, she specialized in cell biology and physio(patho)logy of transgenic models, in vivo, in the field of cell and whole-body metabolism. She conducted a research project in genetics at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) and eventually extended her previous master’s thesis project by four additional years in the laboratory.
